Works of art have often been endowed by their audience with talismanic force. Their impact exceeds the visual impression they make. This seems natural enough when we consider the fact that the most ambitious works of art produced by ancient civilizations were religious. To those who originally encountered them, they seemed to speak directly from the gods. Their makers were very seldom recorded, though the names of those who ordered them to be made - pharaohs, emperors and kings - quite frequently survive. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Tim Carper. Realism is one of the finest styles of art, and it has had moving affects on how artwork is created through today. Realism is the quality of representing a person, thing, or situation accurately, or in a way that is true to life. Realism even went against the satirical and overly exaggerated artwork that was considered popular in its time. This writing is very informative and serves as a great reference for art enthusiasts all around the world. I started out learning artwork all the way back at the Brooklyn Museum Art Classes to prepare for and was accepted to the High School of Art & Design in Manhattan. With below average grades but an extremely good artwork portfolio I was accepted into the Cooper Union Institute for three years Certificate Program. When I was nearing the legal age to drink, I applied and was accepted to the S.U.N.Y. Purchase Conservatory of Visual Art. After graduating with a 2.5 G.P.A. I was hired by the Board of Education to teach Chess and Computer Classes. Around the second year of teaching I was notified that a trustee of our family had enough money set aside to pay out a book contract expense. When I went back to school yet again at New Horizons C.L.C. I certified in Office Programs and for some reason or another was able to solve all of these technical problems with finishing a book publishing job. I handed that over to my dad, Sam whom wrote 7 reprinted books full time for three years. I published my first book under my own first name this year, Peter Sloan Teaches How to Draw Cartoons. I had an agreement with many artists over my ten years of academy of art training if I am to write a book on artwork to follow the tradition of many cartoon artists and publish my first book about how to draw the face. Most of my work is computer technical and books about games, but following with my agreement to write my very first book about cartoon portrait artwork. Enjoy listening. 1. Language: English. Art theory has had great prominence for centuries. Many people are fond of art and in fact artists are producing artwork to portray their views on any particular situation, trend, or a topic. Art theory was refined in the twentieth century by adding many other art forms. People are exhibiting interest in buying these artworks by paying astronomical prices. Art theory accentuates the concepts of modern and contemporary art practices. With the increase in demand for art theory, educational institutions and universities have introduced this as one of the courses in their colleges. As part of this art theory, people, especially artists, designers, and craftspeople will get to study and interpret art in various forms and will learn how to generate ideas to project their artistic work. Art theory will inform people about the society, history, culture, traditions, and social structure. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Andrea Giordani. Davey and the Mech was inspired by artwork created by artist Caleb Havertape. Caleb´s imaginative portrayal of David and Goliath set in the future played out in Brock´s mind and the story around it formed. Firmly rooted in elements of 1 Samuel 17, the story is set into Brock´s Quest for Truth galaxy and gives more depth to the larger story playing out in and prior to the events of the Quest for Truth. David and Goliath is Brock´s favorite Bible story and was also the focus of his story Showdown with the Shepherd, which was book five in the Imagination Station series. 1. Language: English.
